In October 2018, one family asked us to teach their children. We began with three children under a private training institute.

About the Institute
Al Hikmah International Private Training Institute, in Salmiya, Kuwait, trains children in IGCSE subjects, with Islamic values at the core. In addition, children are taught Islamic subjects: Islamic studies, Arabic and daily Hifdh of the Qur’an. We have been running since October 2018.

Our approach
Authentic knowledge
We keep the Islamic curriculum pure and authentic. Knowledge taught this way reaches the heart, stays longer, and turns into practice.
A firm foundation in ʿAqeedah
A correct, strong foundation in belief, so that students hold on to their faith and principles wherever life takes them.
We practise what we teach
Institute-wide guidelines for staff and students follow Islamic principles, so what a child hears in class is the same as what they see around them.
Equal weight for Islamic studies
Islamic studies and Qur’an memorisation get the same time, resources and rigour as every other core subject.
Everything under one roof
Academics, Islamic studies, Arabic and Hifdh in one place, so families don’t need separate tuition or outside Hifdh classes.
Within reach of ordinary families
We believe knowledge should be accessible, so fees are set to serve many families rather than an exclusive few.
